संि(cid:407)(cid:810)त नाम 1-(1) यह िनयमावली उ(cid:517)र (cid:366)दे श प(cid:303)रवहन कराधान (अधीन(cid:830)थ) सेवा (ि(cid:554)तीय संशोधन)

और (cid:366)ार(cid:641) िनयमावली, 2023 कही जायेगी।

(2) यह तुर(cid:566) (cid:366)वृ(cid:517) होगी।

2- उ(cid:797)तर (cid:366)दे श प(cid:303)रवहन कराधान (अधीन(cid:830)थ) सेवा िनयमावली, 1980 म(cid:336) नीचे (cid:830)तंभ-1 िनयम 5 का संशोधन

म(cid:336) िदये गये िव(cid:552)मान िनयम-5 के (cid:830)थान पर (cid:721)(cid:641)-2 म(cid:336) िदया गया िनयम रख िदया जायेगा, अथा(cid:330)तः -

IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of the notification no. 90/2023/1924/XXX-3–2023, dated July 10, 2023 :

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to make the following rules with a view to amending the Uttar Pradesh Transport Taxation (Subordinate) Service Rules, 1980.

THE UTTAR PRADESH TRANSPORT TAXATION (SUBORDINATE) SERVICE (SECOND AMENDMENT) RULES, 2023

1. (1) These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Transport Taxation Short title and commencement (Subordinate) Service (Second Amendment) Rules, 2023 (2) They shall come into force at once.

Amendment of rule 5

2. In the Uttar Pradesh Transport Taxation (Sabordinate) Service Rules, 1980 for existing rule 5 set out in Column-1 below, the rule as set out in Column-2 shall be451 RPH 2023 (Parivahan anu-3) data 4e 4 mRrj izns'k vlk/kkj.k xtV] 10 tqykbZ] 2023 substituted, namely:-

5. (1) Recruitment to the posts in the service shall be made from the following sources:–

Provided that if in any year of recruitment, sufficient number of Administrative Officer are not available for promotion the field of eligibility may be extended to include such substantively appointed Head Assistants who have completed seven years service on the first day of year of recruitment.

Provided that if in any year of recruitment, sufficient number of Personal Assistant Grade-1 are not available for promotion the field of eligibility may be extended to include such substantively appointed Personal Assistant Grade-2 who have completed seven years service on the first day of year of recruitment. (B) From Zonal/Regional/Sub-Regional Offices (30%)

(a) Twenty eight percent from amongst Administrative Officers of Zonal offices who have completed two years service as such on first day of the year of recruitment:

(2) If amongst Administrative Officer or Head Assistant, a junior person is included in the field of eligibility his senior shall also be included notwithstanding the fact that he himself has not put in the requisite period of service.

(2) If amongst Administrative Officer or Head Assistant and Personal Assistant Grade-1 or Personal Assistant Grade-2 a junior person is included in the field of eligibility his senior shall also be included notwithstanding the fact that he himself has not put in the requisite period of service.
